We live in times of superlatives. The highest average temperatures ever measured, the highest energy prices, the highest population in Germany and Switzerland, the list goes on. Of course, the IPM doesn't want to be left behind and is reporting – once again – more visitors.
What is our impression as exhibitors? Have we achieved our goals? Did we have enough visitors at our stand? In short, the question is whether there will be a Lubera stand again at the IPM 2026.
The Club.Lubera
Lubera brand plants are in demand on the market. Many garden centres that have visited the Lubera stand in recent years have asked for Lubera brand plants. It was difficult to give a satisfactory answer, since many Lubera varieties are produced but not sold as brand plants.
This is where Club.Lubera comes in: a network of producers of Lubera brand plants used the IPM platform to present itself at the
Lubera stand.
The goal of informing all market participants about the new option of purchasing Lubera brand plants from contractual partners was also achieved through good preparatory work. All co-exhibitors drew a positive conclusion.
The new products
As every year, new varieties of edible plants were presented, true to the motto: easier – more resistant – tastier – more diverse.

The goal of informing as many market participants as possible about our new products has been achieved.
The Lubera brand
The red Lubera lettering on a yellow background cannot be overlooked in the rather grey hall. Hopefully, many have heard of Lubera, but what exactly is it?
Breeding of edible plants, including soft fruit, fruit and vegetables, on more than 4 hectares with two employed breeders who are always looking for plants that are easier to grow, tastier, more resistant and more diverse.

Tree nursery production at two locations, plants for the home garden, the majority of which are sold directly in Lubera's own online shop. A wealth of experience, for example in innovative production concepts and forms of offers, which also comes into play in the development of products and varieties. No new development in the young plant market can be launched without a proof of concept.

Information about the market for edible plants is obtained by analysing online sales figures, compiled and made available to Lubera Edibles young plant customers.

Strengthening and deepening brand presence is a goal for which the IPM is a perfect platform.
The question of questions
And what about 2026? The trade fair is exhausting for everyone involved – visitors and exhibitors alike. It requires a considerable financial budget for preparation, implementation and follow-up. For Lubera and Lubera Edibles, it is and remains an important platform for presenting our work. The only really serious disadvantage is that there is hardly anything edible to taste from the Lubera breeding. But that's what the OpenDays are for.
